Crews from Hamburg were kept busy with the intense winter storm which brought 17 plus inches of snow to much of Berks County. Fire Police Crews assist County and State Officials with closing access points to Interstate 78. Brush 61 kept busy throughout the day and night by assisting with gaining access to several residents throughout the storm at the request of Hamburg EMS. Crews spent much of the day and evening staffing various trucks throughout the storm. Crews also provided assistance to Krammers Towing  with stranded motorist throughout there travels.
