Companies 41 and 61 were dispatched for an MVA with entrapment reported to be two victims, one in the vehicle and one under it. Chief 38 arrived on location and confirmed the entrapment and that they were class 1 patients. Chief 41 arrived on location and assumed Command and requested Air Medical to fly and Kramer’s Towing for extrication (not needed).E-41-1 arrived on location and began extrication by removing the driver’s door with hydraulic tools while others from companies 61 and 41 removed the patient from underneath the truck. Assistant 41-1 and E-41-2 and E-61-3 setup the LZ for 2 helicopters. The patient in the truck was then removed threw the drivers door and both patients were taken to the LZ. Two patients who were found to be walking wounded were also treated by EMS. After the helicopters took off Command released company 61.
